Skyler’s senior pictures at Casa Feliz in Winter Park gave us two completely different looks within the same area. We began with the historic architecture, brick details, greenery, and arched doorways surrounding Casa Feliz. We then used the nearby pink building to add brighter color and a more modern look to her gallery.
That variety is one of the reasons Winter Park is included in my guide to the best locations for senior pictures in Orlando.
The Spanish-style architecture and warm brick details around Casa Feliz gave Skyler’s photographs a classic look without making them feel too formal. The arches, greenery, and textured walls also gave us several backgrounds within a small area.
The nearby pink building created a completely different look. Its bright color worked beautifully for the more playful and modern part of her session. Moving between these two settings allowed us to create plenty of variety without spending a large part of the session traveling.
If you’re deciding between classic architecture, colorful downtown backgrounds, or a more natural setting, my guide to choosing a location for senior pictures explains what to consider.
Skyler brought a casual outfit with boots and a dressier look that worked beautifully with the architecture surrounding Casa Feliz. Having more than one outfit allowed us to create different looks while keeping the complete gallery connected.
We also considered how each outfit would work with the background. Her dressier clothing complemented the arches and historic details, while her casual look worked well against the brighter pink walls.
My guide to what to wear for senior pictures in Orlando includes more advice about choosing clothing that works with your location and still feels like you.
Winter Park is a great option for seniors who want variety. Depending on the area we choose, we can incorporate historic architecture, colorful buildings, gardens, tree-lined streets, storefronts, fountains, and natural scenery.
It works especially well for seniors who want a gallery that combines classic and modern backgrounds. The final location should still be chosen around the senior’s personality, clothing, and vision rather than simply because it is popular.
Location planning is part of my Orlando senior photography experience, and I help each family decide which setting works best for the photographs they want.
You don’t need to arrive knowing which Winter Park location, outfits, or poses will work best. I’ll help you plan the details and guide you throughout the session so you always know what to do in front of the camera.
