Spring is one of the busiest times for senior pictures in Central Florida, and Aislyn’s Lake Louisa senior pictures couldn’t have happened on a prettier day!
Aislyn is a senior at Boone High School in Orlando, and we headed to Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont for her session. We had beautiful weather, three outfits that I absolutely loved, and a wonderful afternoon exploring the park with Aislyn and her mom.
We started in the fields, made our way down to the lake for a few beach photos, and even got to celebrate her next chapter at UCF!

I have to say, Aislyn really nailed her outfit choices!
She started with a pretty floral dress, changed into a shorter white dress, and finished with a denim skirt and sleeveless white top.
In my opinion, this was the perfect three-outfit combination for a senior session.
The floral dress was such a pretty choice for the natural scenery at Lake Louisa. The white dress gave us that classic senior-picture look, and the denim outfit brought in something more casual.
If you’re planning your own senior session, I love having a mix of dressy, classic, and everyday outfits. You get so much variety without feeling like you’re trying to be three different people!
One thing I love about planning senior sessions is helping my seniors figure out how their outfits and location can work together. And if you’re curious about how we plan everything before your session, I walk through the process in my guide to the Orlando senior photography experience.

One of my favorite things about photographing seniors at Lake Louisa State Park is how many different backgrounds we can use.
We started Aislyn’s session in the fields. The park was a little busy that afternoon, which isn’t surprising during spring senior season with graduation coming up!
But we still had such a great time, and the weather couldn’t have been better.
If you’d like to see how different sessions at the same park can look, take a peek at this senior boy session at Lake Louisa. It’s a great example of how we can use the same location and still create photos that fit each senior’s personality.

After photographing in the fields, we made our way down to the lake for a few beach photos.
That’s something I really love about this location. We can photograph in the fields and then head down to the sandy shoreline for a completely different look.
For seniors who love beach pictures but don’t want to make the drive to the coast, Lake Louisa is a great option.
It’s one of the reasons I recommend this location so often. You can get so much variety without having to travel between locations.

During her session, we chatted a little about Aislyn’s plans to attend UCF.
She brought along her UCF pennant, so of course we had to get a few photos with it!
I love including something personal like this in senior sessions. It’s such a fun way to celebrate high school graduation and what’s coming next.
And it doesn’t have to be anything complicated. A college pennant, a favorite accessory, or something that represents your interests can make your senior photos feel even more like you.

Before we wrapped up, we got a few photos of Aislyn with her mom.
And I absolutely love when moms get in the photos!
Most moms come along to help with outfits, carry things, and watch their senior have their pictures taken. But I always think it’s so special when we can take a few minutes to get some photos together.
Senior year is a big milestone for parents, too, and those pictures are going to mean so much down the road.
You don’t need to plan an entirely separate family session. Even just a few photos together at the end can become some of your favorites.
It was such a wonderful day with these two. I really couldn’t have asked for a better session!

Lake Louisa State Park is a beautiful option if you love natural scenery and want a little variety in your senior photos.
From the fields to the lake, there are so many possibilities. And with the right outfit choices, we can create a gallery that has a little bit of everything.
If you’re still deciding on a location, I put together a guide to some of my favorite places for senior pictures in Orlando, including options around Winter Garden, Clermont, and Winter Park.
And if you’re wondering how we’ll plan your outfits, choose locations, and get ready for your session, you can learn more on my Senior Experience page.
Yes! It’s one of my favorite locations in Clermont. The open fields and sandy shoreline give us a great mix of backgrounds without needing to travel between locations.
I love a mix of outfits! Aislyn brought a floral dress, a classic white dress, and a casual denim outfit, which gave us three different looks. Choose outfits that reflect your personality and feel comfortable to wear. I’m always happy to help my seniors put together outfits that work with their location.
Two or three outfits can give us a great variety of photos, depending on your session collection. We’ll talk through your outfits during the planning process so you know what to bring and how everything will work together.
Absolutely! Aislyn brought her UCF pennant, and we included it in a few photos. College sweatshirts, pennants, and other meaningful items can be a fun way to celebrate where you’re headed after graduation.
Yes, and I love when they do! We took a few photos of Aislyn and her mom together at the end of her session. It’s such a special memory to have, especially during senior year.
I recommend booking ahead, especially if you’re hoping for a spring session. Spring is a busy season with graduation approaching, and booking early gives you more options for your preferred date and location.
If you’re a Boone High School senior or live in Orlando, Winter Garden, Clermont, or another part of Central Florida, I’d love to help you plan your senior pictures!
You bring the vision, and I’ll help bring it to life.
