Guys Deserve Senior Photos Too!
Senior pictures aren’t only for girls, and guys don’t need to love being in front of the camera to have photographs they’re proud of.
Robbie’s senior pictures in Orlando were built around who he was during his senior year. He was a musician, an Eagle Scout, a member of his school’s Mock Trial team, and someone with big plans for his future. From writing music to playing piano, drums, trumpet, and guitar, his interests gave us plenty of meaningful ideas to incorporate into his session. His time on the Mock Trial team ignited a passion for law, setting him on a path toward the University of North Florida and Stetson Law School. As a Class of 2025 senior from SLHE Co-op in Winter Garden, Robbie’s journey is truly his own. He blends academics, creativity, and leadership in a way that’s inspiring.
Senior Session at the Glass House by Tom Fruin at Lake Nona
For Robbie’s session, we chose the Glass House by Tom Fruin at Lake Nona. Its colorful panels, reflections, and modern surroundings gave us a bold setting that worked perfectly with his personality and interests.

One of the most meaningful parts of Robbie’s session was photographing him in his Boy Scout uniform. Earning the rank of Eagle Scout represented years of dedication, leadership, and service, and that accomplishment deserved to be documented.
However, Robbie is more than a talented musician and aspiring lawyer. His mom is incredibly proud of him and describes Robbie as an incredible son, brother, and friend. As he steps into this exciting new chapter, his senior pictures in Orlando will serve as a reminder of how far he’s come and the amazing future ahead.

Sebastian’s senior pictures in Winter Garden are another good example. He wore a tan suit with his cap and gown at Oakland Nature Preserve, changed into a black shirt downtown and finished with rooftop photographs on the parking garage.
Josh’s editorial-inspired senior pictures in Downtown Winter Garden show another direction we can take for a senior guy, using one denim outfit, stronger expressions and off-camera lighting.
Senior Pictures for Guys Should Reflect Who They Are
A senior guy’s session doesn’t need to feel elaborate or overly styled. The best place to begin is with the things that already matter to him.
That could include a sport, musical instrument, car, uniform, hobby, favorite location, or plans for the future. These details make the session more personal while giving him something familiar to focus on in front of the camera.
Robbie’s music, Eagle Scout achievement, and interest in law were all important parts of his high school story. Including those details gave his family photographs that captured much more than what he looked like during senior year.
He also didn’t need to arrive knowing how to pose. Giving seniors clear, easy direction is an important part of my Orlando senior photography experience. I guide them throughout the session so they always know what to do without making the photographs feel stiff or unnatural.
